猫儿山位于中国大陆广西壮族自治区桂林市兴安县和资源县交界处，是南岭中越城岭的重要山峰，海拔2142米，是广西最高峰。猫儿山有猫儿山自然保护区，国家级。猫儿山有“华南第一峰”之称。
在二次大战中，美国曾经派出B-24轰炸机轰炸在台湾的日本舰只。一次行动中，有一架B-24在返航的路程中不幸失踪。在1996年，两名采药的青年在猫儿山发现一架B-24的残骸，而那残骸正正就是该台失踪的B-24。
距兴安县55公里路程，离桂林市区81公里路程。跨兴安、资源2县，面积5.3万公顷。是五岭之一的越城岭主峰，最高海拔2142米，它不仅是广西第一峰，也是华南第一峰。因山顶峰酷形似蹲伏的猫儿而得名。1990年陆定一在老山界题碑赞誉猫儿山有“泰山之雄、华山之险、庐山之幽、峨嵋之秀”。
Kitten Mountain is a 2,142 metres (7,028 ft) mountain located on the border between Ziyuan County and Xing'an County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZAR) in the People's Republic of China that lies about 80 kilometres (50 mi) from the prefecture-level city of Guilin.
The peak lies in the Yuecheng Mountains, part of the Nan Mountains and dates to the Neoproterozoic Era from 1,000 to 541 million years ago. Kitten Mountain is the highest peak in Guangxi and a National Level Nature Reserve.
